LABORATORY SUPERVISOR
Location: Málaga, Andalucía (Spain).
TJH2b Analytical Services, chemical analytical laboratory in the energy industry, requires a Laboratory Supervisor for its laboratory located in Spain whose main roles and responsibilities will be:
ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES
+Prioritizing workload.
+Maintaining records of all quality activities as documented in Technical Procedures.
+Evaluating results of all production tests.
+Reviewing client reports for data and identification accuracy prior to release to customer.
+Report results to customers after completion of all prescribed reviews.
+Performing or directing method development and improvement activities.
+Supports development of internal documentation and training materials.
+Maintains Integrated Management System (ISO 9001/14001/45001/17025) records and documentation relationship with the laboratory.
+Supervise and Train staff as directed.
+Assist in the resolution of client inquiries and problems.
+Accurately identifying, label, and log samples into the laboratory system.
+Support laboratory Technicians handling samples and performing analyses according to Technical Procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
+ Education.
++ University or Higher Technical Degree of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or related field.
+ Experience
+++Working in a laboratory is required.
+++Past supervisory experience in a laboratory environment preferred
+++Demonstrating time management and multitasking capabilities.
+++Using instrumental methods of analysis is required
+Knowledge of:
+++Principles, practices, and methodology of laboratory operation.
+++ Standard laboratory, quality control methods, safety and safe handling practices
+++ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025 (or other laboratory accreditation) requirements is preferred.
+Skills:
+++IT capability that includes demonstrable functionality with current operating systems, word processing, spreadsheet software, and applicable instrument software.
+++English Level B1
+++Supervising and training other laboratory personnel.
